Putting in new NGK IRIDIUMS, can someone please tell me the gap for them? putting them in now. dont know if it matters or not but the other mods are a chip, 6 lb pulley, k &n open filter. PLEASE HELP.
Plug gap...
You should be fine anywhere from .036 to .040....With similiar mods, and 15lbs boost, I have been running denso IT22's at .040 for almost 6 months now with absolutely no problems....

No flame dude...But never trust a factory gap.....At least check them before you install them.....

NOT!
The Iridiums are definitely NOT pre-gapped to any specific dimension.
A set of eight IS pre-gapped to a variety of dimensions across a range of about 0.020 to 0.050 inch, per my experience.
Be REALLY careful when bending the electrodes. You basically have to BREATE on the center wire to destroy it.

so where do I gap them at
having said all that you guys have pointed out, if they are not pre gapped at 40, where should they be gapped at and any suggestions on how to do it with out breaking them?

MY IT22s were all about .32-.34. I left them that way as I assumed they were gapped at the factory. With these plugs in I've noticed a rough idle, but the truck drives great. Would this gap be causing the stumbly idle? What should the gap be (as asked by someone else).
I agreee with silver, although i just gap mine by "feel" somewhere between 35 and 40. I guess this is the same as silver is saying. If 40 fits, too wide. If 35 does not fit, too close. Dont go breakin out the feeler guages.
According to Denso's website, my IT24s should be gapped at .032......thats a real tight gap for a plug that supposedly is supposed to require the least amount of voltage to fire than any other plug....
I went .38 on my tr6's on my 4lb pulley. When you putting it on i might ride over and help? email me and ill give you my phone number orangebando20@aol.com
