Priced insurance for mine with State Farm that im shopping for now ,full cov, 38 yr old male,no tickets last 10 yrs,no wrecks in 10, 625.00 every 6 months.25.00 cheaper than what im paying for same policy on 02 eddie expedition.only problem i got is no good ford financing on the L [cheapest 12 percent] and dealers only want to give 20 grand for exped{16000 miles, spotless truck] this equals payment of 700.00 a month cant swing that, may have to wait a little longer

It's not always the cheapest insurance that's the best. Discount insurance companies are famous for collecting your premiums and dropping you like a fly after an incident. Then you try and get insurance elsewhere and because you were dropped, you are put into a risk category. I've been with State Farm for 32 years, and they are a little higher than some, but they have taken care of me very well. Even covered an accident my son had before he had a permit or license when he drove a friends car.

CYNthia, how old are you? you on your parents policy? Aren't you under 20? That seems very cheap for a person your age driving a late model vehicle, unless it's under your parents policy. My 18 year old son (almost 19) pays about 160.00/month as a rider on my policy and the above accident isn't on his record.

Unfortunately, living in California affects my rates. Sometimes some of these other states look pretty good! My rates are good for California, but not as good as Texas or some others. This state is out of control.

I would expect some of these other states and insurance companies to be having some increases. Insurance companies make money by investing the premiums in the stock market. With the market being flat and the cost of paying claims, insurance companies are having to increase premiums to make money.
