maggy cat back, just about 40$ more then the mac, but actually adds HP (i've read from ****'s dyno's) and is stainless, unlike the mac that will rust internaly in time

If you want louder, go with some hi-flo cats. You'll see gains too.....

i bought the mac cat back. I think it is a piece of garbage. However, i took the tips from it and welded them on to straight pipes. My set up cost 400 dollars. 300 for the mac and 100 for the straights. The mac was not worth it. If you like loud, get straight pipes bent and buy some tips and have them tack welded on. That is my suggestion. You do need to put your stocker back on the pass inspection though i believe. I havent tried yet!!! PS>>> it is loud!

Cyntaxx, you run straight pipes right. I was wondering is yours just cat back. If i was to get long tubes and hi flows and keep the straight pipes how much louder would it be??? It is loud now and that might be too loud.

Yep, just an aftercat setup. I'm switching to the Magnaflow catback very soon though...and may get some Maggy/Carsound hi-flos.

I just recently switched from a Spintech cat to the new Magnaflow cat. Take in to consideration I run with no cats at the moment and the Spintech sounded great and was real loud and had a better tone then Flowmasters, but I just got tired of having to yell at passengers to talk to them. The Magnaflow sounds great, nice big block sound, but not as loud as the Spintech. Although the Magnaflow sounds great it feels like I loss some low end torque, probably because of less backpressure from no cats. But overall I am happy with setup, the installation was easy, and the tips look great.
