But, if you have a truck capable of 9's on NOS, wouldnt you be able to run mid to high 10's all day long and be consistant?

JMHO, but the 9 sec ride would be alot more fun than the 14 sec ride

OPTIONS
Yep The 9 Sec ride is going to be more fun .. But since very few Trucks that qualify for top truck have ever run 10's let alone 9's the FFW bracket racing may not be the best place to see 10 sec runs...

The really fast guys, are typicaly running 7 tenths to a second off thier best for that reason. So if the truck is capable of running 10.80's they are more typically tuneing and setting up to run 11.50's

No matter whether the truck is on a 10.80 pass or a 11.50 pass it is still an E ticket ....

At 11.5 , like Dons bolt , you are still usually the faster guy in the tough truck class at FFW. Mostly Lightnings and a couple faster rangers .

Actually a faster truck does NOT have an advantage at all....

Reaction times and consistancy is what matters period..

Usually a faster truck is less consistant than a stock slower truck!

In bracket racing the only advantage the faster truck has is that he would leave last and hope that the first truck red-lights!!
