Either Denso IT20s or NGK TR6s gapped @ .034-.036.

Don't run the stock plugs for long.

Densos = Over rated plugs that cant take 1 ounce of abuse.

Get the NGK BR7EF's. 2 Stages colder and a hell of a lot cheaper. Besides, they give you that detonation safety factor.

Well with a 4# pulley you can go with a few different plugs, the cheapest being the NGK TR6s. Depending on your long term goals (and driving habbits) you could go with either the IT20s or IT22s. The IT22s are 2 colder than stock. .036 - .038 gap.

The NGK BR7s are also 2 colder but you will have lots of idle misfires. They are not necessary for just a 4# pulley. Now spray some nitrous with the 4# lower and then you need the BR7s.

Hope this helps.

I am also running a 4# with no chip and stock plugs, also runs like a top. I plan to pull a couple and see what they look like soon. I have had absolutely no issues with pinging or anything else. However, if I was running a chip along with the 4# I would definately change to a colder plug.

I installed a #4 pulley on my truck when it had 3k miles on it. After reading all the post about how stock plugs were so bad for the truck I finally changed them at the 13k mark to the Denso IT22's. Every stock plug I pulled looked perfect!!!! The truck does idle a lot smoother now with the Denso's and it does seem better in the upper RPM's. I would just pull a couple and see how they look.
