What are these fast L's going for?

I'm curious to see what people would pay for a fast street truck. The truck would have to be smogable and streetable. It would have to be capable of high 10sec., low 11 sec. quarter mile times on slicks. The truck would have to be complete, you know working a/c, stereo, power windows, ect...

How much would the year of the truck be a factor? Assuming that it was in mint condition.

We all know that building these things from scatch is a hellatious money pit and after we're done they're not worth anything.

So what's your input?

I wouldn't buy one because I bought mine for the fun of modding it to those specs piecing together my own stuff.

I think most Lightning owners are people buying these trucks with the intention of customizing themselves.

What do you do with these trucks after you modify them and want a new project?

It's sucks to see your project, with thousands of man hours and tens of thousands of dollars just sitting there collecting dust.

The owner shows no interest in the vehicle just because the project doesn't interest him any more.

Being a working man supporting my wife and kids I can't afford to buy it.

So like I said, what do you do with these fast trucks when you're done?

I guess you keep them in your shop under a car cover and let them collect dust....what a shame....

If you want to know about something I'm coming out with then let's just say pretty soon you will see a device out on the market that will alow you to achieve the same power output from an Altima to a 350z useing the factory Nissan maps.

One of the otherthing I have designed and I'm currently trying to sell is a device that supercools the water going into your intercooler with your a/c. That product allowed me to get 95° discharge temp under the Eaton at 18.5psig, flowing 1150 scfm on a 90° degree day. In November of 2000

It just seems that people would rather buy neon valve stem caps, cowl induction hoods, or replica quick hood releases for thier car/truck rather that devices that actually do something. When people get sick of Pepboys or J.C. Whitney I know my things will sell.

I'm not affraid of the parts I build if you want a picture give me your address and I'll send you some. Unlike these words I have physical proof to back myself up.

Have a nice day.

Let's just say that he does have this thing working. Would you rather have it now? Or wait unti lthe Gen 3's come out, and then still wait longer for an aftermarket place to retro fit it for our trucks?

All these tuners call it inovation and you guess jump on it quicker than a mississippi beauty queen.

Some innovative guy comes along, who has built some cool stuff (a dual blown L), and you guys mock him, and crap on his ideas.

It's bull**** *******s like you guys that screw this place up.
