Intercooled Screwdriver
Got one better than that. Bought a brand new 89 El Dorado in 89. Friggin rattle was driving me nuts........I tried to find it sooooo many times. Even had someone else driving while I was in the passenger seat and even in the back seat. Took it to the dealer many times. On the fourth trip to the dealership, Iam walking around the car lot, and as I walk past the garagedoor, I see the car up on a lift, with two mechanics under the car and one swinging a hammer...WTF??????
As I continue to watch one guy starts removing something
So I walk into the shop acting like I belong there, and what do I see. The guy is removing pieces of the broken coke bottle that was in one of the frame rails. Apparently the bottle was put in as the piece was being welded together

I have no idea, but that was my third straight GM car and is was my last one up to this point. I really don't know if it was a joke, a mistake or what. But rest assured I was plenty pissed. I kinda wish I never even saw that, cuz I loved that car
But I ended up buying a custom E-150 Van to replace the caddy and rest is history. I've become a redneck, pickemup driving, racing rascal. If I had kept the caddy, Iam sure I would have had others and probably become a pimp or something..............

Ive never owned a GM vehicle but some of my buddies have and complained about weird noise and squeaks. I guess every manf, at least domestic, has its share of problems... But you dont get a V8 with a honda

heheh, nice, unfortunately, I don't have any surviving interior shots except for the ones after the accident which led me to buying the Lightning:

I loved that truck. *sniff* It was a 1983 Dodge Ramcharger 150...Had a 318 v8, easy to work on, no computer, and you had space to work around the engine! lol. :)
