You should have ran if the opportunity was available. Make the cop do his job and maybe you wouldn't have got a ticket.
If you live in a city where cops pursuing vehcles have killed innocent people you may have a no pusuit policy. They can't follow after a certain speed. works for me.

You need to get a good radar detector. Try the Valentine 1. Mine works very well. I have one ticket in nearly 30K miles with the Lightning. That was a bogus ticket anyway and I beat it in court. I'm not a slow driver.

I the town wher I work they use lots of unmarked crown vics. I usually look for the sway bar under the rear axle(which can be seen from a distance) and the dual exaust.

I almost got pulled over today, got a little wheel spin on a sharp right turn with the tight 9.75" posi unit.
He followed me for a while and I was a good boy. Then he turned off, and I hit it!

i'm not saying they suck, they have helped me out before, but just disappointed.

its hard paying for this thing, going to school (for Ford) and working part time getting paided just over minimum wage, until i'm done with school

Yea, that pretty much sums up how I feel about them. And look below for a brief explanation. Have a nice day.

Yea I was. It is my opinion. I have had unpleasant experiences with cops and they have never helped me out. I am a law-abiding citizen just like the rest of you (hopefully). I have never committed a felon. I don't drink and drive. I've never caused an accident and the only two times I've had fender benders were in parking lots when my parked car was hit.

Probleminfected stated the situation: He was going over the speed limit in a group of cars, with a BUS behind him. The reason behind speeding laws is safety. Now if you were a cop, what would you think is more safe? A high performance truck speeding or a much heavier and more difficult to control BUS. The truck has better brakes, more responsive steering, and is lighter than the BUS.

Looks like the dip***** cop was either a) not using what little IQ he possessed to begin with or b) a little jealous and decided to pull over a Lightning, something he can't afford to even dream about at night.

"Just doing their job" or not, if my tax dollars are paying them then I expect them to do a better job than this.

I think buses have a right to go fast. They are transporting many people. The cop probably took this into account. He figured that if there were 15 people on the bus and therefore speeding bus was helping lots of people get to their destination quicker and therefore be more productive citizens. I mean you do the math. 15 people is only one mph over the limit each person while problem infective was doing the entire 15 over all by himself.

Wow, I never saw it like that Easter!

Man, I shouldn't have bought a Lightning. Should've at least gotten a minivan. I figure that most don't get pulled over for only 5 mph over. So if you have 7 people in the car, that's 35 mph you can do over the legal limit without officially breaking the law.
