oh well, i guess it's just money, but it still bothers me.
oh and yes my laser alarm went off so i slowed down even more then what i was going ??? i guess it failed me, but laser is a different animal and hard to get away from
i'm sad

You should have ran if the opportunity was available. Make the cop do his job and maybe you wouldn't have got a ticket.
If you live in a city where cops pursuing vehcles have killed innocent people you may have a no pusuit policy. They can't follow after a certain speed.
works for me.

That defineatly sucks, i have gotten 1 in the L 2 1/2 years ago now,, and i don't trust my whistler at all,, If i see ANYTHING that looks like a Crownvictoria i slow down NOW!! usually i can slow down and pass the cops at the right speed, and usually i can beat my radar receiver at its own job

I the town wher I work they use lots of unmarked crown vics. I usually look for the sway bar under the rear axle(which can be seen from a distance) and the dual exaust.

I almost got pulled over today, got a little wheel spin on a sharp right turn with the tight 9.75" posi unit.
He followed me for a while and I was a good boy. Then he turned off, and I hit it!

Is there a post you don't respond to? Great response and well educated " another reason why cops suck". Grow up!

Probleminfected stated the situation: He was going over the speed limit in a group of cars, with a BUS behind him. The reason behind speeding laws is safety. Now if you were a cop, what would you think is more safe? A high performance truck speeding or a much heavier and more difficult to control BUS. The truck has better brakes, more responsive steering, and is lighter than the BUS.
Looks like the dip***** cop was either a) not using what little IQ he possessed to begin with or b) a little jealous and decided to pull over a Lightning, something he can't afford to even dream about at night.
"Just doing their job" or not, if my tax dollars are paying them then I expect them to do a better job than this.

I mean you do the math. 15 people is only one mph over the limit each person while problem infective was doing the entire 15 over all by himself.

Man, I shouldn't have bought a Lightning. Should've at least gotten a minivan. I figure that most don't get pulled over for only 5 mph over. So if you have 7 people in the car, that's 35 mph you can do over the legal limit without officially breaking the law.
