Line Lock Question

Do you guys that have a line lock installed pull the anti-skid fuse at the drags? I just finished mine and tested it with no problems with the anti-skid working. The line lock is installed right after the master cylinder.

Line lock pictures

Do a search with "line lock", find "Silver-Bolt" post and look in his gallery. He has some nice pictures of his mounting braket. I did what Silver-Bolt suggested and purchased the front brake line from the master cylinder, he lists the part number in his gallery also. Then you have to find sombody who can double flare brake lines. You put a fitting on the stock line that will work on the line lock solenoid and the stock fitting on a short line you will have to purchase and modify. Follow the instructions in the line lock kit, I got mine from Summit. Finding someone to double flare the lines is important, call a local brake supply company. Finding someone who could make you the short line from the master cyliner to the line lock solenoid that had flex in it would be even better. I purchased a 3/16 brake line with fittings and carefully bent it to fit. The stock line has to have the coating removed before you put the 3/16 fitting on it. It also needs to be shortened, I have to take mine out later and do that. Install the solenoid and then look the brake line situation over before you you move the fittings around. If you have never bent brake lines buy a couple and be careful. Use a BIG socket mounted in a vise for a bending mandrel. Most of all be careful and take your time.

Instead of messing with the anti-lock, why not use two units on the front lines to the calipers??? This would eliminate problems with the antilock...

Its already been done and its too costly for one. Its also a safety issue, especially when you consult the NHRA rule book.
