I believe that post is referring to Hennessy Motorsports and all the viper owners who were "allegedly" screwed out of some big bucks.

The real question I have in mind is: Did anyone from JDM find out how much the darn thing is going to cost when it comes out? I am really curious to know...

I spoke to them also, I was at the NY car show and saw the viper and the wild Motorcycle they had. I talked to their spokes "model" and Nobody really wanted to talk prices.
Though $51,000 price tag was mentioned by a passer by that said he had something to do with the truck, and with the cost of the viper engines its no doubt.
I did notice one thing on the display they had there at the show.
Accelleration 1/4 mile time ....... 12.9s

oh and underneith that truck did not look all that special to me, though I only viewed it from the back.

Hey as long as the money is green what does he care if its for a dodge or a ford. I wouldn't for more cash.

Here is the beauty of what Dodge is about to pull off. The "viper" engine is a dodge v10 truck engine. So years ago they put their big truck engine in a car and charge a princely sum for it. Now they are taking this "exclusive" "viper" engine, which of course is just a truck engine... back into a dodge truck and they saying it's the "viper" engine in the truck?! Ha ha, you gotta love capitalism. So they can charge a princely sum for a truck with a truck engine in it. If they pull if off for over 50g I will tip my hat to them.
