Even if i did i'm in a lil shorty, i couldn't see in your truck but the side of your door looked cool! thanks

Well, I dunno about doors, because you weren't right next to me, I got the jump on you by maybe 1.5 to 2 lengths, and then you were stuck right there. Not bad at all, considering.

You have to understand that I don't normally race Accords. It's pretty expensive to run a race that 99.99% of the time you are going to absolutely destroy the competition. Also, I am still on deferred adjudication until the 24th.

When I was trying to get you to come up was when we merged with business 121 right before we passed the Texaco/Shell/Centennial going into The Colony. I slowed down to 50/55 with no one in front of me but you never came up. ???

Yea, I meant Hondas. Honestly, I never get Preludes that want to run, and not many Civics either. Its always dudes in a primer colored 92 4 door Accord DX with ground skirts, chicken wire, and a bookshelf on the back.

Leave your car a sleeper! Don't ruin it!

You can fix up a ricer and make it fast but in the end you still only have a fast ricer.

Ive GOT to get one of those bumper stickers that says,"My lugnuts require more torque than your Honda puts out."

I like any car thats fast, but these other "street fleas" as I call them, give you really fast ricers a bad image. Seems like every civic, accord, sentra, neon, ect. has that huge a$$ wing, fart pipe, neon lights, and stickers. ............ And they all wanna race, hell, I saw one civic ALMOST take a german shepard to the first turn here yesterday! LOL!

thank god a prelude posted on this site now, because i dont know what you guys woulda done if you hadn't got the chance to post up your cute little pictures that make fun of generic rice boys!
looks like you've all been just dying to use them haha, because they really don't make any sense in this thread considering he doesn't have any stickers on his car (refering to the fast and furious one)...
and then there was that simpsons one that said that "16.9 isn't fast" haha which made no sense, cause the only thing that has prolly ever run that time was my truck

make sure you know that i'm not offended or anything, i just think it's funny. everybody's like "RICER RICER we don't see them 'round these parts much, bring out them there funny pictures!"

haha y'all are cute. and FOR YOUR INFORMATION we had to buy an impact wrench, the other day, with MORE ft lbs of torque (260), cause 90 wasn't enough!! and that was just for the bolt that held on the alternator pulley (not even the lugnuts)....and that didn't even work, so we had to use liquid wrench + 260 ft lbs of power... that's a supAr madd strong car if you ask me!

No matter how fast you go on 121, there will always be a liquor store waiting at the next light.. :P

Just make sure you don't stray into the Carrollton side, there aren't as many cops as in Plano but they sure aren't as nice as the ones here lmao.

lol, actually I have seen that stupid pic at least 10 times by now. They dont need an actual import driver to post to use those pics, they fly out of the woodworks every time an import/ricer thread is started.

Hey, I got my brake fixed yesterday! We should run again. I noticed the morning after that race when I got to the parking garage at work that it was making a grind-grind noise while driving without touching the brake, and when applying the brake the truck dove to the left. - turns out my caliper was stuck on, and burned up the rest of my pad. New rotor, new caliper, new pads, and I am free-wheeling again!

That looks like a nice install...congrats.

As for the "import haters", wtf? ... there are fast cars of all sorts.

My buddies RX7 would put most Lightnings to shame. He has a single-turbo upgraded 1993 FD3S. It puts out ~450rwhp@14psi on pumpgas on a car that weighs 2200lbs and can top out somewhere in the 190mph's on a good track. He dosn't drag race, so we can only estimate a 1/4mi time.

Most "estimators" put it at 9.8s@137mph, but god knows what the 60' would need to be to pull that off. We figure it will run mid-to-high 10s at a more normal run.

He's currently getting a wide-body kit done so he can put 13" wide tires on the rear....its a great ride.

Daniel
