anyone in the north texas area that actually WANTS to race that prelude is more than welcome too Hes beat lightnings before but they were probably stock. We're always up for friendly races on empty roads preferably thats why its easier to set something up. So if you want your L on vid w/ a prelude email him at integralsguy@yahoo.com or me on aim ashgashbudash!

(just because i don't think the pm thing works on here)

Does your boy even know his quarter mile time? I only ask since you seem to only race on the street...the track is a better proving ground if you ask me...and legal to boot

TZR and Konig seem to be especially sensitive to the import topic (see my post about me selling my Lightning for a 03 Accord V6 6speed coupe https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=107686 )

I can't stop laughing when I read that - once again, my car was built in Marysville, Ohio........weren't the 01 L's built in Canada? I'm not trying to start anything (b/c i could give a crap where any car is built as long as its a quality car thats fun to drive) - but that American comment is just too funny. Also.....all those mods and only 12.9?? J/K

txf150girl-----tell you b/f 'nice car' ----- I used to have a 98 SH 5speed which was a very cool car. Does he have the motor built up?

WTF? why am I "sensitive" to the import topic? I never said anything negative to her ..I may have joked about the headers but I was only poking fun. I dont really like most imports, but I also dont care enough to make fun of someone who likes that stuff...dont understand it..but dont care either

hey its me (prelude) i was trying to get you to slow down, we had huge patches ahead of us that we could of run on but you wouldn't slow down, you kept staying at the back of traffic so i never could get beside you. Even if i did i'm in a lil shorty, i couldn't see in your truck but the side of your door looked cool! thanks

no its not tuned yet, it runs rich and the timing is pulled back until the dyno this friday. No point in making two trips to the 1/4 mile track at ennis or hallsville (200+miles)

12.9 is still plenty good enough to smoke your Accord V-6 which you had the gall to compare to the L in power I think my boy flying **** said it best:

Theres people with common sense and then theres... Honda Owners.
bottom line is save the "my Honda is fast enough for my needs" crap for Honda boards...you don't see me going over to honda forums and saying my truck is better for my needs than your Honda. and nobody cares if your getting 47 mpg.

btw, the 12.9 was hot lapping with nothing removed from the truck, plus me and some tools (~5000 lbs. total), on a pig-rich winter program with no timing thats safe down to 0* with a 6# pulley

the only ricers that i really hate, are the ones that live in my Gheeeeto souf Irving, with park bench wings crappy stickers and no performance other than the stuff they buy at autozone. but i do like respectably done ones that actually have nice amounts of perf. last weekend at ennis i got beat by a rather nice gsx at the track. i was on street tires and ran a 12.9, he ran a 12.5. my best was 12.7 thus far. oh yea, it was humid as hell

Just because I think Accords are lame doesnt mean I hate all imports and the people who drive them. I poke fun at them all the time yeah, but like I said the careing stops there
