Think of using a prybar... you move the end alot and the pry end only moves a lil bit. same thing with out leaf spring axle setup... axle sits toward the front of the spring. you might be moving rear 4" up but your not gonna get it to move up that full amount. Now if you just did 2" hangars you would get closer to the advertised amount since the axle is closer to the hangar. If you do both then you get the SUM of the two exactly as your moving both sides.

to clarify things.
I understand leverage but if a vendor advertises it as a 4" drop I had better get 4". False advertising otherwise.

sorry, not gona upload pics then cut and paste links, they need to get with the program around here.
Wait just a second, We didnt realise that We pissed off Krix330cic(NJ) - We'll get right on fixing the vulnerability in PHP and get attachments turned back on so that you wont have to moan and complain anymore.

Whatever...

Even if there wasnt a vulnerability in PHP - I dont blame Steve for not allowing attachments. They bloat the size of the SQL database BIG Time and with 30,000 plus users it would get unmanageable and unstable very quickly... Everyone else seems to manage to use the Gallery's without too much trouble.

You are wrong Joe.

Axle sits 26" back from front spring eye and 32" forward of rear spring eye.
