4" shackles would supposedly really add to that "wandering axle" feeling. Have you noticed this at all? TIA

BTW, send me the pics and i'll post em for ya

I'm ordering the 2-3-4" shackles next week to replace my belltech 2" shackles after i get my 1" front drop springs in.
Realistically i'll never get 4" back there from shackles, there's just not enough room between there and the bed, but i'm hoping it'll end up being a true 3" shackle, or at least an inch more than the 1-3/4" i've got now.

bad day at work, Kris???????????hehe

I wonder about that "wandering axle" feeling too, from those long shackles, but I guess the Harley boys don't corner like the Lightning boys do

I bet Ruslows panhard bar would correct that

No drop kits lightning or not are measured by how low any said place on a vehicle lowers. It done by how many inches the holes in the said part(shackles,hangers,spindles......ECT) is different from the factory holes. And for springs and such,They are basically measure to match with other components which are measurable.
If anybody thinks thay are going to get anywhere near 4" drop from a shackle they are dead wrong. The holes might line up4" apart but thats the end of it.FYI

There are many things that do not allow for a true drop like angles, radius ,weight transfer ,and such
