Yes, Buick Grand National built in 1987

Stock Grand National 0-60 in 4.9 and quarter mile in 13.9

Stock Grand National GNX was little quicker with a 0-60 in 4.7 and the quarter mile in 13.5

With a few mods those GNs could easily get into 9s 10s 11s if it was in good shape. Remember it’s 16 years old. I’ve seen just few of those and they are fast, but most are showing there age.

Interesting posts, but 2 weeks ago JDM

said (at FFW Commerce,Ga.) that it was not available yet--maybe in a month or two? Was ready to buy 4 lb pulley & have reprogram done to my 00. From what I've read on this forum, JDM wouldn't miss a chance to sell their "expensive" interchangeable pulley, plus microtuner if it was available? Together that would have been nearly $1000. They actually advised me to wait on pulley until "micro" was available! My understanding is that you can store more than one program in it,but do not have the instant versatility of a flipchip? Will be similar to Diablo Predator?

Here is the deal,Im not bashing anyone,But here is what i experienced so far.
I called JDM for one about 1 month ago and they told me i could have 3 seperate JDM programs in 1 tuner. He told me he would call me soon as he was about to program it.Never did.Hes real busy right now............

Dons bolt was down there this weekend and picked me up one so they are "physically "there.I told him what i wanted for programs and i got a call back and was told that once its programmed,he cannot program it again so he told me to try and see if i like it and he will change what ever i dont but he can only do it once per unit forever. So im getting the generic program from superchips.Im not upset,This is my only way i can have even a medioka program without voiding warranty.I firmly believe that at this time,JDM cannot program his programs in them,They are still learning about them and I dont think i was told the absolute truth but somewhere in the middle. This is whay in my previos post i said "there is more to the story" .Time will tell but right now, anything is better than stock but i would have LOVED to have one of JDMs programs in there.Id be very suprised if it is possible at this time.I was also told it boost sensitive which i kind think is BS but with the generic program, its probally pretty safe with a 4lber which is what i wanted it tuned for............to start........my.02

Friday i will be making some runs with the micro tuner and 4 lber and will have some info and times........

I got my

Microtuner from JDM last Friday. I dont think its the same as the generic Superchips model because it does have different programming. I was asked about any mods I have on my truck. I have not hooked it up yet but will do so when I have time to go to the dyno to check out the numbers and a/f ratios.

Without the pully the truck ran decent. The shifts were good and the tune was pretty aggressive.WITH the pully also,The truck had serious detonation so i promptly removed it and ordered a regular chip burned for my 4 lb pully and ran 12.7s all day long on a JDM chip. The JDM chip"WALKS ALL OVER" the microtuner. The ONLY adjustable things is the shift points which is useless cause it bumps the boost shut off right above stock setting and firmness which basically makes the truck "bang" shift.

Micro tuner is good for "STOCK" vehicles only. There is NO way around it at this point. If you are running a pully,You WILL get detonation period.

For the person who"thinks" they got a special program,Give "superchips" a call and you will be able to read between the lines on the NON availabilty of any such thing. As of right now,NOBODY is having custom programs for the micro tuner and they dont expect things to change...........

I data logged it at 19 degrees of timing..........No wonder i got detonation.
