I tried the beltech lowering springs in front, and did'nt like them. They seemed way to harsh for me. Took them off, and put the original springs back on, and added the western chasis lowered A-arms. You don't get the bump stop problem, easier to get the factory alignment, handling and ride are vastly superior in my opinion. There is just no comparison in ride quality in my opinion.I got about a 1 3/4 drop in front. Now I did add so0me Hal QA1 shocks, so that may make a little differance in the equation, but over all the lowered A-arms are the only way to go. All of this refers to IMHO. http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/super_a-arms.html

So the lowered A arms at $70 a pair will do both sides?? you are only replacing the bottom right? That's what it looks like. This does seem like the great way to go. This and the JLP 4" shackles in the back.

Cool Lower front 1.5"

LFP offers a set of progressive rated Eibach front springs. Kit is good for 1.5" to 1.75" drop. $149.00 for the set.

should be the same on the HD as the L.
and while you're at it, dump the stock shocks and put bilsteins or something in

Cool Eibach

You can expect the same drop from the HD. Bilstiens an inexpensive shock upgrade for the HD. $42.00ea.
