I think any generator dealer will have them. When I say generator, I mean the kind that put out enough power to operate a decent size plant. They also make them for small aircraft. I read somewhere starting up your engine is just as bad on it as if you drove 100 miles.

The generator we had ours installed on never let us down. The foreman said the extended time between tear downs with the accumulator is enough to pay for itself by the time the first overhaul or something.

I've had plenty of high mile engines, and never used synthetic. My father swears by it, but I don't see a big difference. Used dino oil in my old engine until the day it came out, with 184K miles on it. Crosshatch in the cylinders still showing, everything was great, except for a worn down cam lobe and the top piston ring on each piston had collapsed By the same thing, I wouldn't go with high-mile oil. The regular just works as well, IMO

No sense running high milage oil unless you need it. Heck you don't even have high miles on that truck yet.

I am one who believes that if you run synthetic, high miles comes at a higher number of miles. If you run mostly at operating temp and reduce cold starts that number is higher. If you change your oil often that number is higher.

People have said from experience that engines that burn and leak oil will lose less oil running a high milage oil. There are additives in it that swell gaskets or/and seals
