Cool tundra. You will like the CCW stuff, its good wax, just requires monthly application and you can beat the price.

I cant wait to see how this Pinnacle stuff turns out though.

NeedFourSpeed, can we get a picture of your truck all prettied up?
Hey not to put a shameless plug for the cherry wax people, but I got my Cherry Wax today! A whole 3 days after I ordered them ONLINE. They may not have a certificate, but they are definately good for their word! Keep in mind I am all the way in Alaska.

I'd post pics, but I've got to do a holatta***** this week and next. Maybe this weekend some before and after pics will be up. My black Lightning has close to 54k Alaskan miles on it, with a moose here and there....

Cherry wax

The prep is the most importasnt thing.

Clay bar the entire truck. Take your time. I actually did this twice just to be absolutely sure.

Next stop was rewashing with dawn. After i dried off the truck, i pulled him in the garage and busted out the porter cable and yellow foam pad. I added a dime dize of 3M Swirl Mark Remover and put the speed to 6 on the PC and went to town. I did each panel twice to ensure all the scratches/swirls would be gone.

I then switced over to the white pad and added Pinnacle Cleansing Lotio to the truck. I buffed it in real good until the product was completely broken down and had a little haze. I then added 2 coats of Souveran 24 hrs a part.

Another quesiton, where to get clay bar? Is there different kinds of quality? Your truck looks pretty damn nice. I am gonna have some time on Friday, after FINALS for some beer and cherry wax.

You can get the clay bars from anyone, they all works the same. Ive used the Mothers setup because it was available at Pep Boys. Set ya back $20. What was cool with the Pinnacle kit i got, came with 3 clay bars, Clay Lube and a jar to hold them in for $29.99. Just take your time on the clay bar on well lubricated panels and what ever you do, dont let the clay slip out of your hands and hit the ground.

to remove wax from plastic:

I checked this site and have been going there for years. They always have a good answer to detailing questions. Well, tried the nutter butter thing, WD-40, and other well meant suggestions, but the answer has been right in front of us all along-DAWN DISH SOAP. Use a strong solution of Dawn and a little water and a toothbrush. I just tried it, then washed it and it's been in the sun for 2 days (*no &%#& garage) it the white crap on the trim is still gone. I can see places I missed and have to do still but I am tickled. I've had wax on the black trim for 2 years and couldn't get it all off-only hide it. now it's outa here.
Only the pollen keeps coming back.
