Thumbs up Anyone go to Fun Ford weekend in Commerce? I was there

Saw a nice bit of Lightnings and Harleys out ripping up the track yesterday..Just wanted to say good job to any on here that was out running...I saw a lot of 12s and I believe someone with a silver L made an 11sec pass.. It was very impressive..I talked to some of the guys over at JDM and thought about a 6lb pulley but when I told them how many miles on my L they seemed to never heard of one with so many miles..I figured I'd pass on it b/c didn't want to break anything being the motor is very fragile now..That was my first time at a track seeing the guys with crazy boost on the fiberglass cars with chutes on the back go down the track that fast..Much different from the test n tune i'm used to seeing..My buddies told me that wasn't nothing compared to the John Force guys doing in excess of 300mph
WOW..

Just wondering who was there on this site...

I've got 73,000 on mines 99blkLitng..I know i've seen some guys on the forum with 90-100K miles and doing good with theirs..When a couple of people at JDM told me they've never seen any lightnings with that many miles. It just led me to think that pulleys installed on a high milage L havent been tested by them and I don't wanna be the first guinea pig..From what several people have told me 99blk, the 4lber is a safe all around power pulley.

BTW: JDM does great work and gave me very good info..My chip tuned by them has been on for over a year and havent had any problems yet....Hey 99blk make sure to change plugs too (TR6s are what they suggest)..

I was there today (Sunday) and the Fun part ended quick. As soon as I parked, I found my passenger side front tire going flat. Oh joy! I now have tire changing experience on the L. So to make up for my discouragement, I quickly found Razor's Edge and bought some toys for my baby. The Fun should be back in my Ford soon.

Come on Eddie, I like that spare rim. I only wish I had 4 of them. But now I'll be able to drive much louder with them on so I won't hear anyone laughing at me.

Gator, that wasn't your truck was it? Most of the L's I saw had South Carolina plates. If it was your, I would have made sure to give you one of my UGA SEC Championship bottles.
