If anything ,it will keep current used gen 2 values from dropping even more.

Look at the bright side of it.
By 2006, maybe the "other" two compteitors will have something that compares to the present Lightning, and we will need an upgrade.
Personally, I am very pleased with the present Lightning, and see no need for any major improvements, except maybe the paint, and interior, at this time.
For a long range upgrade, maybe shed a few hundred pounds from the present platform.
What do you think?
