Gatorback Belt
Gatorback Belt
I just recieved my gatorback belt for my 4# Lower which is part #: 4060685. I noticed it is thinner than the belt i am currently running, is this normal or did i receive the wrong belt.
Hi Smokin,
You've got the wrong belt, what you were sent was a 6-rib belt (hence the 0406 at the beginning of the part number), when what you actually need is an 8-rib belt.
Part# 04080685 is for a 68.5" long blower drive belt with 8 ribs.
Good luck!

To the best of my knowledge if you are only running a 4# lower you should be using belt number 04080675 that is what i used on my Lightning,i believe your belt number would be for a 6# lower pulley.

6# lower is 080680
Right Belt
4080 I don't know if I would have went as long as 685 for a 4# (4080685). I usually sell that with my 6# pulley. I would suggest the 4080675 no longer than 4080680. We stock all of them.....$39.00ea
