Any other changes from you old dyno numbers and the new ones??

I got to say 98rwhp and over 100 rwtq is very impressive.

Thanks for being cool with me!
Hey Red, I was only kidding on the dyno sheets to make a joke. Maybe you mised the other thread. If you say you're putting up those numbers, you are. No need to post them for me.

I mean come on guys. Red runs at the track. If he says he's putting out 493/570 he's gonna be kicking some SoCal butt, mine in particular. At least until I get my Works 140. Then it's gonna be shoot out at the OK corral. One man left standing. Won't be Red!!!

RedBolt, in my opinion, I would not go with the 4.10s. Even on a moderate power truck, they don't do all that much, and now YOU have almost 500rwhp. You've got so much power and torque that you will have no problems getting the truck moving off the line. Putting the 4.10s in will gain you nothing except to make the truck that much HARDER to launch. I would stick with the 3.55s.

I would start off with 17psi, you might be able to go down to 15 or 16.

I launch at 1800 -2000 rpm's it all depends on the track, but I only have a 2400 stall converter.

Hey Red, Don is spot on here. LACR seemed to launch best for us at 15PSI, with Michael staging at 1800RPM. But it really depends on which track you use in So Cal....plus you have just a tad more torque on tap, so may even have to launch slightly lower.

But then again, what do you care about launching for??? With nearly 500 HP on tap you can run down pretty much anything else kinda like a bullet chasing Saddam running in deep sand...

RedBolt-
I have only used my Hoosiers once, that last time with you at Carlsbad. I had my best 60' there at 16psi and launching between 1750-2000 rpms. Then again, I also have a converter. Shoot me an e-mail and maybe we can hook up next weekend at Carlsbad and test that bad boy out!

Sorry if this is a stupid Q but you're not running a built motor are you? Do you plan on doing one soon or are you just waiting to see how much the engine will take with $$$ on reserve for whatever happens?

It seems like more and more people are considering aftermarket blowers w/o a built bottom end, etc these days and i was just wondering what they're future plans were...

I personally would be worried about my tranny as well as my motor if i were pushing those #s....

Not a flame, just trying to gather some more info...

Silver is still the fastest on the west coast. You need about 70 hp more.

Why is your torque so low? You should be well into the 600's

Works 140's shipping in March. Should be interesting

what do you guys think I'll do the 1/4 at?
At first you said 16 psi. Now it's 18. You edited the post, but ICULOKN's quote shows what you originally said.

It's pretty hard to dyno your truck and not know how much boost, everyone in the shop who is watching knows and so do you and your tuner

The reason I put 16lbs was because thats the size of the pullie I was running during the test and my boost gauge read 18lbs so it's only fair for me to change it? Right

And as for my RWTQ# I think its OK for what I have remember I don't have a 6lb lower!

And whats up you guys do live together now?
Can't post without the other?
