Stay away from AAArims. They are crap. Crome is flaking off faster than my ex-girlfriends makeup on her face. warranty is worthless...

After i win my lawsuit, Santa Ana Wheels is getting my business.

I went with a local chromer not to far from them. They promised me the most beautiful wheels. 2 Months later, they destroyed my wheels.. Dropped them, scratched them and dinged them. They also let a 4 yr old polish the inside... well, thats what it looks like at least.

Bottom line, if you do business with a local chromer, make damn sure you talk to each one locally and choose the right one. Believe me, it avoids a ****load of headaches.

Santa Ana Wheels does shipping across the USA. The guy is real cool and assisted me with the chromer i had problems with.

I had more than my fare share of problems with Santa Ana. The forked up my wheels and center caps.......and overcharged my credit card etc etc etc. I can go on but will reserve myself.

I had good luck with Santa Anna. My only problem was sending the wheels cross country. Every thing worked out real well though and the the wheels really look good!

People i have a problem with is a plating company, Not Santa Ana Wheels.

Basically.. They did a crappy job in prepping my wheels before chroming. The chrome was literally flaking off when i went to pick them up.

They agreed to re-run them and were appologic. However, the downtime between the 1st run and the 2nd run was... 1st run took 18 days. The 2nd run to 10 weeks. No phone calls from them for updates. Avoided my phone calls and messages. I had to call them to find out they were done. They were sitting there for 3 days before being picked up.

I picked them up, brought them home. Opened the tonneau and removed the plastic. My jaw hit the ground. My wheels were thrashed. Actually, butchered is a more proper word. I then called them and they customer service dude stated he will file a complaint the owners will make a decision and get back to me. Welp, that never happened. I began calling again to find out what happened.

I got this rude general manager who's first words out of his mouth were " Well, what did you expect? We have military chrome, aerospace chrome, regular chrome, etc " I was amazed he was telling me this.. So after talking to several chromers locally, they told me because they dipped and stripped my wheels over 14 times, the integrity/strength of the wheels are history, wouldnt be able to take them as cores.

I offered to settle at.. " Reimburse my chrome fee and buy me 2 new wheels ".

They offered to " Strip my wheels, give me my $$ back and find someone else to chrome them". However, the Wheel damage they caused was not a concern to them. So, this is where im going after the for damages and downtime. Makes me sick.

Just do your research well. Its your $. BTW. You can view the pics in this THREAD
