You need the little WEDGES between the leaf spring and rear.

They look like this...

You only need one though...




Traction bars will help to, you had to much axle wrapup....

I run the Belltech 3/4 kit and the Truck Traks or Caltracs work great!

 

is that shim installed w/ the thicker part forward or rearward? i have a 3/4 drop waiting to go onas soon as it warms up

 

the thickest part od the wedge aims towards the front of the vehicle. Tractions bars will keep the axle from wrapping but still no guarantee of not twisting the driveshaft. either way you need the shims. You have to lift up the leaf springs to install them due to the pin in the middle of the leaf spring and the bracket.
