More SRT-10 Info and Pics (Sorry)

Autoweek.com has some preview pics from the Chicago Aut Show. Included are some pics of the supposedly production SRT-10. Looks like the funky Neon like spoiler is still in. Check out the school bus gear shift.

Should be some good competition. I wonder how well the shifter works.

The wheels look like they were lifted from Chevy's Z06 parts bin.

The story is that the orginal Blue Prints were wrinkled but, no one at Chrysler was willing to put their job on line by pointing it out.

a few weeks ago somebody posted a photo of a supposed srt-10 in a parking lot, and it had that ugly exhaust, and I was sure that it was a fake because it looked so stupid. I figured no car company would make a $40,000 high performance vehicle so ugly.

I stand corrected.

It may be able to hand me my ***, but at least I'll be going out with some style.

Reminds me of my old VW buses. Gear shifting was a matter of hunting for the right county.

To shift quickly with that much travel, you have to start pressing the shft lever to load it up, then clutch, then release the clutch while the shift lever is completing its journey to the gate.

The 2004 concept L shifter is soooo much better.

Lose the spoiler, paint the door and tailgate handles, lower it and they have a nice looking truck making some serious horsepower. Glad I have NOS.

Looks like shifting will be like rowing a boat.

in all honesty it isn't that bad, lol

i still prefer the look of the L, but I wouldn't have nightmares if i owned that truck lol

i'm not a big fan of the stick shift, but i would imagine there are a lot of L guys that would love a stick shift, i think most trucks are going to have a huge throw, not a ton to be done about it,

i'm curious where the price will actually come in
