Getting mad isn't going to fix it, Asking questions on the Internet gives you the best chance of fixing it. One of two things went wrong, either the primary clutch went out or the pump died.
This is only a slight set back, not smothing that will give me cold feet in the modding.
Tomorrow is another day.
'01 L down, but not out.

Did it act up at all before you tried the install>??? I would get it towed over to a tranny shop you can trust! Just seems odd that all of sudden it doesn't work after you played with it>??? Keep us posted. -Mat-

yeah -

Not for nothing - but like SVT 150 said if you didn't have a problem before you cracked open that case then more than likely something wasn't put back in/on properly -

The Tranny is one piece you really don't want to mess with if you don't have a clue... I was reading on another board someone else doing this mod and removed another piece of the tranny to clean it up as it was caked up with sludge or something.

Well when all was said and done he had put everything (he thought) back together and he found three colored ***** laying on the floor of his garage - they had fallin out and he had no clue what they were or where they were supposed to go - Gregg had to coach him as to what to do ... screw that...!!!

Hey Certified D

Did you get your problems sorted out? If so, what was the problem?

Just changed mine on Saturday - no issues. The hardest part is putting down the oil dry to clean the darn Mercon up.

Right now the thing hits hard, more or less regardless of throttle position. I'm hoping it will loosen up (at part throttle) after a few more miles.

Do it - you won't regret it.

I ordered mine and it is probably being shipped as we speak!
I want to know if I should do this or not. I'm all about performance, but not replacing a trans.. (truck has only 4500 miles on it)
