protective coating on the computer terminals
Does any one have a good concoction for the protective coating on the computer terminals that have to be cleaned off for a chip. Not that I want to clean them or anything

Someone once stated Humiseal was the name of the product.

If you wanting to REMOVE it then use Xylene to soften/loosen the coating then humiseal thinner (521) to remove completely.
If you want to put it back (not that I would every do such a thing you know) but I'd think you could find some very high grit sandpaper ... lightly sand the connection to remove deep scratches then paint with a light grey paint.. let dry then cover with Humiseal (1b73 ap)
Of course I don't really know what Ford uses but I've been told this "looks" the exact same under a black light...

Again I myself would never do such a thing and I hope this information is used for educational purposes only..... I am not responsible for any bad things that may happen to anything or anyone that reads or tries to use ideas or thoughts presented in this post...... or something.
