Works Or KB?

The rear inlet is sappossed to be more efficient. Also the Works will come with a new upper intake. But if you want the power now buy the KB but if you are willing to wait for the snow to melt check out the Works. I am impatiently waiting on the Works 140
Another kid here in town might get the KB. Also I want my Works 140 polished

Kenne Bell
I have the Kenne Bell, and I love it. I have seen the Works 140 and I am not interested in the way you have to remove the blower just to change the plugs. I purchased mine from Swanson Performance in Torrance, California. Granted the Works will come with a new upper intake but it comes at a pretty penny. I believe the Works will cost over $4000. In comparison to the Kenne Bell wich can be purchased for just $3000. If you want a great blower now, I would pick up a Kenne Bell.

it has been reported that #4 is difficult to get, but you do not have to remove the blower to do plugs with the works.
Here's a thread with lots of info on the differences in the two blowers!

As of right now, the target price for the Works 140 is $3850. The Works price is not designed to compete with the price of the KB. There's more cost involved with the Works 140, so the price is higher. The 140 inch Whipple used in the Works kit costs more than the 134 inch Autorotor used in the KB kit (the Whipple uses higher quality rotor packs made by Eaton, which have an almost zero failure rate), the Works 140 comes with a machined adapter plate matched to your lower intake instead of having holes for both and you just don't use some, and the Works 140 comes with the new intake casting (which is why the 140 makes more power than the KB at the same pulley ratios) that costs quite a bit to make. And if you figure in what the new KB replacement intake may cost ($300 maybe), you're up to $3300 for the KB, which is just about $500 less than the Works, and the Works is still a larger, better quality blower.
That's just my 2 cents on it. Either blower is going to make honkin power, so just compare all the features, weigh all the sides, kick all the tires, and decide which you like better.
