Angry Annoying vibration when crusing on the highway

Between 2100-2500 rpms when crusing on the highway there is a vibration that can be felt in the truck, but mostly through the pedals and the steering wheel. There's no noise with it, just an annoying vibration that will irritate the hell out of you. I must get rid of it!!! How

Maybe a tire out of balance or the famous Exhaust vibration?

I just had the tires balanced a couple weeks prior to this vibration, it may be the exhaust.....and I have a 99 with the steel driveshaft, and I've never run on slicks, could it still bend?

Nope, nothing, I'm gonna get my driveshaft reblanced or rotated, whatever you call it. And see if that does it, if not another alignment at a different shop....Then I'll move on to the exhaust, and probably end up buying something else, I have the Borla Catback now, and want louder.

My former 99 had the same thing.. approx 75 to 85 mph.

Changed to an aluminum driveshaft, went away.

Keep the steel unit if you run drag radials/slicks w/out traction bars.

2001's and up also have this issue around 90 mph. It has to do with the exhaust from what I've seen.

You said you had balance done PRIOR to vibration, could a weight have come off a wheel? Just a thought.

I did a 'search' on "shims":

There's more info using the 'search' feature..........
