You can't tell from looking at it, but those pictures Joe posted are the friction plates of his intermediate clutch, only there is no friction material left on the middle one, and it's wleded to the race. Funny thing is, he was driving it and didn't really think he had a problem. It's there, you just don't notice it becaue it happens over a long period of time.
If your tranny was doing it from day one, it's not that, though. It may well be the PCM, but I was thinking you had noticed a drop in trap speeds, which is what clutch wear will do before you notice it in daily driving.
