Based on recommendations from both of you and of Speedin Bob, I ordered a 14568 stainless today. Will be installed with 3.5" dual wall tips tomorrow afternoon. The other posts I have seen say it's just a little more than stock with no drone. Sounds like me all the way. Thanks to all!

With the exhaust hacked off just after the muffler, I installed the other Metco lower link last night. Awesome. No better traction, but the wheel hop is gone. Left a real pretty pair of 50' X 12" black strips in my neighborhood about midnight last night. Man, those Dunlops HOWL when they break loose. Must have woken up everyone on the block. Sometimes straight pipes would be great.

Not great. Not much more sound at anything other than WOT. And at WOT, it sounds kinda "airy," like those choking exhausts they used to put on big V8s on family cars in the 70s and 80s.

I am reserving judgment until I get a few more miles on it, though. Since it's a glasspack, the sound will definitely change over the next few weeks.

Thumbs up

Tim: It will get a little louder as time(and exhaust gasses) go by .

I just concentrated on listening to mine this morning on the way to work and it is a low DB, 'full' cylinder sound that just sounds good(to me). I'm having a difficult time describing its sound but it is completely satisfying to my ears. Hope you grow to like yours too.

Dan

I went with the complete Magnaflow cat-back. All 1 piece, mandrel bent 3 inch tubing. I think it sounds a little deeper than just the mufflers...plus you get the polished stainless tips!!!
