Please recommend a relatively quiet muffler

I am having my exhaust tips replaced to clear the Metco traction bars. While I'm at the muffler shop, I was thinking of getting a new muffler installed. But I just want a lI]little[/I] more growl.
Right now the tips have been cut off at the hangar closest to the muffler, and I like the added sound of the reverb off the pavement.

I definitely do not want a loud WOT. I do most of my driving on city streets in cop-infested L.A. and don't want to attract attention.

Thanks

I went with a Magnaflow and actually thought I lost some snarl over stock...

So I fixed that with a Basani catback. PERFECT sound now...

Get the stainless steel Magnaflow(p/n: 14568) http://www.magnaflow.com/03cat-back/...l.htm#ovalbody (scroll down to near the bottom of the pg.) Btw, it has an internal x-pipe.

I got mine as part of the JDM c/b and it is outstanding in finish and fit. It is slightly louder than stock at idle and at cruise. I can't hear it at WOT as it's covered by the s/c scream but I'm sure it's louder than the OEM muffler.

I am very satisfied with the Magnaflo Cat Back. Nice sound, but won't attract popo. At interstate speeds, no drone at all.

for a bit more growl than stock and decent WOT.

Magnaflow 14568 (Stainless) 12568 (Aluminum)

They will need to configure the tailpipes anyway.

How much louder is the Bassani cat-back than the Magnaflow?

Dan (LIGHTNINROD) and I have the same muffler...... He did not steer you wrong. GO FOR IT and it will not drive you nuts with a drone at highway speeds.
