Most of the Lightning owners I have met locally when racing my Nova have been asshats.

That doesn't by any means say that all are, but my experiences are such that I have this opinion.

Some places have lots of good Mustang owners who really know their cars, or they are like where I live and there are 10 billion mustangs running around and haven't done a damn thing to them except send it in to the "performance" shop.

All classes of cars have their jerks, and you're more likely to remember the asshats than you are the nice ones.

i generally try to be a good fellow performance driver, i love all performance vehicles out there, and in every group (including our lightning group) has a view pompous asshats that do take the cake, somepeople sometimes dont want to admit that their vehicle can get beat be a truck or an ss or a gt. when someone gets beat sometimes they take it a little too personally. like me and my friend raced today, i lost...so what, that doesnt tell me anything but i need MORE MODS!!! woohoo!! someone should go over there and make a post

Thanks for the great perspective check and some of the funniest darned reading I have had for awhile. For a second there I thought I was reading one of our threads(substitute any vehicle besides a Lightning).

My favorite bullsh#t story ended like this...Saw him at the track a few weeks later and I was running 14.20's compared to his 15.40's.LOL

What a bunch of tweetie-pies....do you have any idea how many attitude sportin', trailer livin' mullettheads I meet every day that drive F-bodies....EVERY car group has its share of azzholes...period. Those guys need to have a seat on their porch, crack open a fresh CAN of Schlitz beer, give their toothless daughter a smack on the azz and chill out.

Besides....maybe we should talk about the future production of the f-body's.....um...wait a minute...oh yeah...

I highly doubt the High Demand of 'Stangs & Lightnings will allow them to be sunk from production anytime soon...
