I have the Sony setup, complete with the MXP-70 head unit. I used the Terk on glass antenna, damn thing keeps blowing down horizontal when I go over a 100mph though... not that I ever do that on publi highways...

Only thing is I listen more to my own MP3s than to XM. When you can fit 160 or so songs on 1 disc, its hard to get bored.

the antenna is 49.99 and the tuner depends on the make of the reciever. what type of reciever do you have???

Somethings I would consider: XM has NASCRAP radio and http://www.xmradio.com/programming/c...age.jsp?ch=205 Also, I was wondering, I have an Eclipse in my truck, so that does not apply for the moment. But in my daily driver 89 Thunderbird I have an Alpine that says it is XM ready. Do I still have to get that reciever and all the other stuff. I did not realize you had to have a special antenna. And yeah, get that screwdriver off your paint. Just kidding, you can do whatever you want to with your truck. You just wouldn't catch me with tools on my paint. But with the commercial free, do they play any decent music? To me commercial free still does not mean there is anything you like? But this is also an opinionated and subjective question. And I do know they have a lot of stations to choose from. Thanks, Darin

Darin,
I just got back and town and saw you called last week, things are going well, i've been on a small vacation for a while and never answer the damn phone when i'm out I am almost positive even though your head unit is xm ready, you still do have to buy the whole kit for use of the xm radio, xm radio headunits i believe just means that your head unit is ready to be hooked up to an xm receiver.

BTW, that just freaks me out there, that damn orange screwdriver is in every single picture he's got posted, as if he's got a thing for it.
