you need an antenna for 49.99 and a sony tuner. the tuner from curtchfield is $249.99 but that is the same price crutchfield sells the alpine unit for. I went to my local Circuit City and they had it for 199

Xm is indeed snazzy, but look to sirius for some new interesting things for 03 =)

(how about streaming video over the same equipment htey already have!) SOo mobile video might just be a tad more 'cool' when you can watch digital TV in teh car with that small antenna.

I have to wonder why you didn't stick the wires for the antenna BEHIND the moulding though. Its realllly easy, pop off the two ends (yel/grn caps) and you can put a lil pressure behind the moulding and it'll slide right through and provide a much cleaner look.

Just and FYI for all the people considering the XM, get the Sony antenna, vs teh terk, the profile is quite a bit smaller and much more attractive. If my terk wasn't already on there i'd switch.

XM RADIO

I've had the Pioneer modulator for about a year now and really like it. I use the Terk thru the glass antenna. I did notice that lately they are playing a limited amount of commercials on the music only channels, go figure. The stocks on both companies, XM and Sirius are both still doing poorly.

Really?

Sirius' stock doubled at CES from .75 to around a 1.5. Since has dropped a tad to about 1.20 but still a hefty increase for anyone that was a stock holder.

Their stocks will climb by the end of 03 as their costs of deployment on the sats and research costs are slowly starting to dwindle.

Anyways XM is nice! (at least since they added chan 48 the squizz)
