despite what i say, there is no doubt that the L is one bad **** in looks and in performance, i dont like ford, but that is one ford i would sport the sh*t outta..

lets keep in mind that the ram 1500 hemi or any of the ram trucks arent made for racing and performance, they're made for towing and truck stuff...compare the hemi ram with a regular f150 and the ram will smoke it, you guys want comp for the L wait for the srt ram

avtually theres no comparison with the f-150 and the hemi ram!.. compare the 5.9l ram with the 5.4l F150...close both have the ups and downs......im jsut sick of all the HEMI_HYPE.. thats all you hear anymore........they were junk then and theyre junk now!

p.s. Good choice on the T/A though!!

do you relize that the current top fuel dragster engines are base on the design?

i realize this is a ford sight and the lightning forum, but I for one would love to have a 1970 hemi cuda or a charger with a 426 hemi. i think they ran ok

15.1 is slow compared to a lightning (same magazine has the lightning in the 14's at 99, i think) but fast compared to any other new truck.

You are right trueblue, the 429 was a real, not a modified hemi..

Hey you lightning guys, let us diesel guys spank the hemis and you guys stay spanking the vets...Or hell I may even want to spank some of the older vets...I cant hang with the C5, but I bet i could hold my own against those 350's...

Yea, even if they ran in the 14's I would want to play...Hey I have 7000lbs...And could tow three of their trucks...

My prediction is the hemi wont be around long!!!
