I have raced it for 3 seasons now and still drive it daily. I do however, use synthetics in it. Where can you pull a boat, or haul something, then line up and run a respectfull qtr. mile? I love my truck.

i have a 99 with 65k miles on it. i bought it used and it had a bit of wear. while i do love it, i stomp the hell out of it. it's no luxo-car, and with the new redesigned (and power increased!) lightnings i dunno how long i'll keep it. i'm getting a tt by summer, and that thing will stay nice and clean as I don't really plan to sell it.
About engine wear-65K miles! I don't drive anywhere to far, work is 5 minutes away, school is 10. everywhere i go on a usual basis is within about 10-15 miles of where i live but i still drive a good 1000 miles a month. this is simply a better reason to plan on building an engine. i want to order a refurbished 5.4 and get it built as fast as economically possible considering the audi. and no, i rarley warm it up as i am always late. the mornings are cold and the more i stomp on it the faster i get heat! i don't abuse the thing, i use it for what i need. it's dirty now because it's rained recently, and between work and school i'm busy bout 70 hours a week. After sleep and a needy girlfriend I can't find enough time for my truck
