Wink

I removed that thing and spare tire when I lowered my truck, along with the rease hitch and all the crap that goes with the Jack. Knock on wood, I have never had a flat tire in 20 years of driving. I figure if you don't carry a spare then you will never have to use one..

i happens alot on fords, it helps if you dont roll it all the way up when you dont have a tire on the carrie, it helps it from getting tangled or bound up
i'll have to try that.. thanks!

I'd list that old one as a "Rowing Machine" and sell it on e-bay. Kinda what it looks like anyway. Maybe $199.

--upload pics onto F-150
--repost

LOL.

Now THAT'S a contribution!

Thanks for the tip Brooks!!

(sarcasm)
What tuner did you buy it from and does it raise and lower the spare faster?

Thanks for a link to this. I now know where 7 #s or so can come out of the truck. Plus my OEM one has the spring on it too, so it might be 7.5#s. Every pound counts.
