Fuel filter...last q....I hope...
Hey, as long as I got this hog on jack stands, I wouldn't mind changing the fuel filter. Where the he!! is it, and what kind should I use as a replacement. Are there any unseen tricks/problems to changing it? Thanx again guys!

in front of the rear left tire.
look for the fuel lines you'll find it.
you'll need a disconnect tool, a cheap one will work. find it at any parts store.
use the ford filter.
ford is the only american company that uses it's own oil and fuel filters in their race cars.

Its held in a bracket along the inside of the left side frame rail.
Important hint... don't change it just after running the car, trust me, even premium unleaded still tastes like crap when it shoots out on you under pressure...
Oh yeah... its a nonsmoker type job

keep a rag and a couple of vacuum line caps handy (less mess) and keep your face AWAY from the filter area. Got a bud that had gas spray into his ear. The words chicken dance and the sensation of having an icepick jammed into his head were in his description.
OUCH!!!!
