not my auction, but it was cheap, jump on it !
I don't understand why some of you guys are so quick to pass judgement on others when you don't agree with something. I know Easter has just turned into a miserable person with nothing nice to offer anymore, but I'm surprised at the rest of you guys.
I'm not surprised that he left the high performance converter in the truck when he sold it. Neither the cost or the effort (if he did it himself) could be rucovered by the additional moneys received in an auction for a used high performance converter. That's whey he let it go with the truck. I'm fixin to remove my high performance converter this week and go back to the stock converter because the stock converter is better for bracket racing. You get better RTs because of less slippage and the lower launch RPM 100-1500 vs 2500 on mine) gives more consistant 60' times especially if traction is marginal. Granted my 60's will go up about .15 but they will be the same (within .02) every time and thats important in bracket racing. The high launch RPM that I needed to use to get a good RT with the stall put the truck on the edge of the track's traction abilities and some nights my 60' times would vary as much as .20. That is unacceptable in bracket racing. I'm with Sal on this one.

It is funny how everybody (I'm generalizing) jumps on the band wagon to bash something, then when one post goes the opposite way explaining how stupid it was to bash, the band wagon does a complete 180. I noticed that on a few posts these days.
