wait wait, why did no one jump on this part:
They are for sale because I replaced them with performance parts, and I recently sold my truck
that's fishy for abunch of reasons. he bought abunch of performance equipment, and then sold it? it's not like it adds to the value of the car. everyone keeps that stock crap so they can put it back in like when they sell it or its lease runs out or in goes in for dealership work. sorry, it just sounded weird when i first read it, it was two excuses in a row when one wasn't needed (cause it's not like this is a high dollar auction)

If you are using aftermarket rims for your slicks and need taper lugs, they are not easy to find. Hardly any retail stores stock them, you usually have to order them from somewhere. The Ford F-150/Expedition trucks use a unique 14mm x 2.0 pitch lug that no other vehicle uses.

I don't understand why some of you guys are so quick to pass judgement on others when you don't agree with something. I know Easter has just turned into a miserable person with nothing nice to offer anymore, but I'm surprised at the rest of you guys.

So the guy isn't allowed to sell his truck with some goodies on it now? WTF? Hell, I traded my 99 back into the dealer with goodies still on it, and still have the stock parts, does there have to be some kind of fishy reason behind it?

Maybe I just got really lucky but I just asked the guy who mounted/balanced my slicks if he had 14x2 closed acorn lugs and he whipped out a box of 100 of them (polished no less). I snagged 10 and left a happy camper.

Well it just sounded really weird. It'd normally one or the other. But he put on goodies and sold it. Kind of like he wasn't thinking, like he's used to saying "never installed, sold truck" and "installed aftermarket, selling stock stuff". not saying it's like some fraud auction or anything, i was just saying it sounded fishy.
and sal, if we have this problem again, maybe we should get our trucks and take this outside. decide who is right by who is faster, i'll show you a thing or two

I think it was more of a case of he already had the goodies on the truck, then sold them with the truck, so he's selling his stock leftover stuff. Or at least that's how I saw it.

Heh. I think you might win right now, my truck is in a few pieces for the winter. BTW, I was not trying to be a jerk, I've just been getting a bit irritated at some of the posts here lately, and the lack of maturity in them. My apologies to you, Tim, and Soap.

That is nice Sal take a shot at me while I'm not looking. That is what you were always good at.

BTW, those lug nuts are nothing special. Also not all after market wheels use the tapered lugs. Some use the flat ones.

I didn't jump on the guy for posting the info. I jumped on the ignorant bastard who thinks 14mmx2 lug nuts are rare.

Now get back in the cage Cactus...Um, I mean Sal.

edit:14x2 not the 14x1.5 I posted...
