I said performance, not reliablity. Big difference. and if a Kia is reliable, for some people it's a great car. Gets them from A to B economically. Seems like a logical decision to me...

the point is, a person that buys a supercharged Monte Carlo SS for a speed machine is different than a person that buys a base Monte for the look.

I think most Vette owners buy on emotion. Some buy for performance, but most buy it because its the Vette.

I think a serious speed freak would opt for the Camaro SS or Firechicken WS6 and spend the price difference on mods.
