i love it! other than that baby crap yellow interior and those ugly rims, both of which probably won't make it into production, ford really suprised me with what they could do with that truck

now, does anybody know of any dodge forum websites? i gotta see what they are saying about this

 

With the high side body line, the chopped top, and the 22's, it looks Dakota size.

Looks like Fords "new edge" design people gotta hold of our beloved f150...gonna miss our flaresides for sure...from the side it doesnt have much character I think But a nice improvement to the engine no less and a kickbutt addition with that SuperCooler!!! Like a 50 shot of nitrous that fills it self back up

 

What? Nobody's gonna photoshop a red one? A black one? Maybe it will look a little less crappy with a different color. Those wheels really suck!

 

Personally I dont like the look of the new trucks. Including this one and the new expo. The engine is sweet though, and does anyone know why ford went from the5 by 135 to 6 by 135 lug pattern? Also any info on the size of those rims and tires.?

I just went to the LA car show this morning. I ask the Ford guys about the new Lightning, they said it will be at the LA show on Tuesday. Needless to say I'll Be Back . They also said the 2004 L will be available in September. I hope they are right because I am ready to buy one NOW!

While at the show I also inquired about the 500 HP Dodge truck. They told me that they are behind in making the Viper engines for the Viper. All vipers are sold out and the Vipers get the engines BEFORE they go in any trucks. So it goes for the all talk Dodge truck.

Hmmmm. It seems to be asking for a two tone paint job. Maybe some graphite or black along the bottom panels.

 

am i the only one that doesn't like that body at all? It's a boat... i didnt read Everything about the motor, was that what sold everyone? The interior looked awful and i don't really care for it in manual, some may, i just dont like the manual tranny in a truck... i think its reserved for a sports car... what were the tires 22's? we were just knocking the srt, the dodge with the viper v10...
I have a 2000L and i just got an extended warrenty on it, so it'll last me till 60 some thousand miles or another 3.5 years from now.... and i WAS thinking about getting something new then. But out of all the L's no offence to any, i like the 99 and 2000's the best. I do like the gear's in the 01-02 but i love my rims on my 2000. If anything i'd get a low miled 02 in a few years... But thats then, and this is now, im gonna enjoy what i have, Wile i have it...
