Talking

I was saving my $$ for a 05 SSR. I figured the blown 6.0 would be quicker than the blown 5.4. But with those #'s I don't see GM getting over 500 ponies equaled with 500 pounds of torque with that 6.0. I love the new lightning thru and thru. But one thing, is it just me or is that engine compartment missing a few things? I realize that is not the finished product though.

I could do without the yellow seats, but If that is basically going to be the production 04' I would trade the 01' in a second!!! That engine compartment looked freakin awesome!! Throw in the T56, and OMG!!!!! Now Dodge or Chevy have ABSOLUTELY no prayer...Love it!!

well

i like the hood with the ram air setup, at that intercooler system, the nose is cool except for the lower valence. Overall, i don't like the looks, and the interior is yuk, even for my taste. I love the motor, but no fan of the manual transmission, sorry, i'm lazy. We'll see how much of that makes it into production. I'm willing to bet that drive train is definite, but not sure about the looks.

Let's start a pool on the price tag.

I'll start at 42,987

With everything SVT is, you think they could have put the adjustable pedals in the new models. I drove an expy with them once, i loved them.

Ok, lets go litter the dodge boards now..hahahahaha

I really like it a lot!!!!

Not, let me take a shot at this price guess.

It will not be staying around $33k but I don't think it'll be $42k.

I'm guessing $38k

38K is kind of high i think. you can get a HD for that price.

i'm guessing since it won't come with all that stuff thats on there (22's and crap yellow seats) that it'll be right around 36K

I like the new interior styling but the color has to go. Been messing around with photoshop deciding if I like this new body style or not.

Price,
I am just wondering how long it takes to see the first one on EBAY. If their too high, I will have to settle on a 03"
but this will be the tow vehicle for my 93"
If ford continues with their pricing, I am betting about $35,000
nicely loaded.

harley

i don't think they will make them anymore after their planned sales. I think the dealers will do the same they did with the 03 cobras, at least around here. There was such high demand that the dealers were getting a 4k add on, which was putting the price in the 40k range around here, and people were still lined up to order. The day my buddy went looking for a GT, the salesman came up to us and was like looking for a cobra??? We were like , well, i wish, a GT actually. He was like oh, there are two guys inside that just came in to order the 03's, i figured you were part of the parade. I did ask the guys inside if they were infact there to order the cobras and they were, I asked home much, one guy was like, you don't wanna know.

New body style, no Harley's, and 500/500, increasing cost of luxary style vechicles....... SVT is just a cash cow for ford, i say at least 40k MSRP.

Saw a commercial for the SVT Focus today, never say a commercial on television for SVT models.

When I first saw the pics I hated it, but it is starting to grow on me. I do hope that it doesn't have the same big A$$ED UGLY Mirrors from the new Expidition.

As far as the interior I also think it is ugly, but I am happy to see real bucket seats, and a center console.

Like Tellimecca I also want a Automatic Transmision

same thing here. Hated it yesterday, liked it this morning, now i love it! looks awsome!
looks like from the pics of the regular 04 F150 it did get the big dumbo mirrors, and they aren't even color keyed anymore

Like Tellimecca I also want a Automatic Transmision
did you see greg's (factorytech) post at NLOC about that? he said the 6 speed manual was out of the picture, and only for the concept, that it would be either the torqueshift 5 auto, or a reworked 4R100

philly auto show better have the L there, although i doubt it cuz that show sucks every year

I would have to see it in person. Don't like the seats, and the front reminds me of a Ranger. If they will be asking Vette prices for it then I would rather buy another Vette.

I like everything they said about the mechanics of it though.
