I think that that brush guard looks ok with those particular light, they are the only non-rectangular lights I could find. The spacing does not allow to put round KC style lights there. I had to build a small bracket for these.
The price was right. I've got about $350 in the brush guard and the lights including shipping.

Hey Bronco,
Is that you're ranch in the background? If so, then I though I had a long fence, wow that sucker must be a long long long fence.
Looks to me, from the pictures, that a guy that lives in a mountainous area can easily justify owning a truck with a brush guard as it probably comes in real handy and in some cases necessary.
Now, about the folks that own them that live in the city and keep their trucks in the garage or only drive on the highways...that's seems to be a mystery to me...Oh well.
Later,
~DM~

I do hope that wasn't a stab at me Daveman
because my brush guard has come in handy...even though in using it destroyed it requiring me to buy a new one, but that is ok....just gave me an excuse to buy a different one that I actually like better then the original......
original was a Westin stainless
new one is a Manik stainless one-piece

Daveman-I wish it were mine, but that fence is for the storage yard for the sub-division I live in!!
Skagel, don't take everything so personally. I believe that Daveman was referring to the other KR driving female from Detroit that posts to this board!!

yeah you're right BD, there are just so many chicks out there like me who obsess over there KR's and whose idea of a perfect day is a day offroading, detailing her truck or spending hours at the gun range and come home to clean the guns and reload the brass....yeah you are so right.....what was I thinking?
Ranch Hand...
Howdy Guys... I see everyone here has just about every brand of grille guard but here in Texas, the best grille guards hands down are made by a company called Ranch Hand. They are second to none! They use a true powdercoat design - most are painted and the few that do powdercoat, only a small amount actually bake it on to where it is bonded to the metal.. Here let the pics speak for themselves and here is their website..
Ranch Hand
Look closely at the grille openings, they are actually cut to match the Ford grill. I only got the guard but they also make a full factory replacement bumber that is mean joe green! The mounts on the 4X4 model (which I have) are 3/8th's plate steel that run about a foot along the frame. The tow hooks are full functional, not removed and are mounted in the same holes with longer screws.. Enjoy...
There are more pics of this in my gallery and you will also see that my truck actually came with a chrome guard that I had taken off.

ReelWork -
Thanks for the info on the Ranch Hand Grille Guard. I haven't heard of that one. I do have a couple of questions for you.
How does it compare to the Westin and the Manik? All three are very similar in appearance. Skagel says she prefers the Manik but it whistles at speeds over 35mph and its contoured better to the front of the F-150 then the Westin. What do you think?
I'm considering a grille guard but haven't decided which one to get. I'm leaning towards the Westin if for no other reason than I don't want one that whistles when you drive and I think its a fair trade off for the slight contour difference.
Also, do you know of anyone who offers a grille guard already painted to match your truck instead of the standard chrome or black?
Thanks for your opinion.

Hey clma75,
I assumed that the owners of trucks who put mods on the outside must like the way they look or they wouldn't do it. I guess I'm just too conservative when it comes to mods...I got a lot of mods out of my system when I was in my twenties and was into racing and such.
Now, on the other hand, I'd be willing to bet that guys that drive around with low profile tires and have their wheels sticking out a foot beyond the confines of their fenders looks cool to them, but I bet you'd disagree that it looks cool to you...Similar concept maybe, but the brush guard is one hell of a lot more tolerable to me than ghetto pimp rides playing boom boom music with neon lights underneath and no suspension to speak of...However, that's what they like and they have a right to the roads too, unfortunately...
