Color blind? Uh-oh....looks like I've started a family fight! Is this stuff a cream, liquid, or paste? Thanks again for the info!

Hrrm, the stuff I got from Ford was a liquid. A white liquid. Smelled like FORMULA 2001 (that crappy armor all wannabe stuff).

Has anyone tried anything else?

I'm desperately hunting for alternatives to the KR leather treatment. Has anyone tried ANYTHING else?

I've been looking for the 4 way stuff and no one in my area seems to know what it is or have it on hand.

I found this site on the internet. Of course, they had no way to order that I could find. I called Advance Auto and they've got a half dozen different products to clean and condition so I heading over there to get something as my seats are so dry I'm afraid they're going to crack if I don't do something soon.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the tip again. I had printed out that web site a couple days ago but I was trying to find it locally and no one knew or heard of it before.

I finally went to Advance and got some leather cleaner/conditioner wipes by Turtle Wax and they cost about 5 bucks for 25 of them. They worked just fine and the smell was barely noticable.

Maybe the wipes can tide me over for a while until I can order some of the 4 way stuff from that source you provided.

Thanks,
DaveMan

that stuff is not what you want to use on your kranch as your leather is tanned differently than all the other cars out there. don't know if you did any harm but you most certainly didn't do any good for it either. get to a saddle shop, feed store or tractor supply and you'll find the 4-way. if you can't find one of these stores then look harder because i've ran across one of them in every town i've been in from nyc to los angeles.

Pkagel,

I called 8 different shops here in town which sell saddle goods and pet supplies and every single one had lexol, and several other types but none had 4 way. My seats were so dry I had to do something and after using the wipes it seemed to be a hell of a lot better than before and no harm appeared to be done to me and I should know. I'm going to get some 4 way soon 'cause I'm probably never gonna see anything from Ford.

Later,
DaveMan
