Anymore response on this? It would be nice to have an idea of the time frame sometime in the next month or so in order to be able to get the time off far enough in advance.

Wink

Hey Skagel! I heard that!! I'd love to go , however my bride seems to have her heart set on going to the British Virgin Islands instead. I can't talk any sense to her. You know how women are.

Hi Gang,

I just wanted to touch base with everyone that's still interested in visiting the King Ranch this Summer. I think we should get all the votes in and tallied no later than March 23 which will give everyone 6 weeks to plan if we decide on May 4 weekend to meet which is the earliest date that was suggested.

I originally selected the weekend of July 4 but actually, I can basically go whenever and it really doesn't matter to me. Let the majority rule and I'll go along with whatever date is selected the most. If there is a tie, then the owners with the highest number of votes for a specific date should re-vote.

Let's do this thing so we can all meet, enjoy some food together and have some fun and then head'em up, and move'em out.

Later,
DaveMan

Hey Daveman,
I just thought I would post here....I don't want ya to think we are ignoring you....as I believe I stated before the only date I can't make it is the last week of june and the first week of july....gonna have surgery in june and I need the time to recover so that is why the first week of july is out for me too.

Stop by!

Hey, for all that are making the trip...make sure you make a trip/stop to Dallas. For most of you, it should be on the way. I don't think I can make it down to Kingsville, but since I am in Texas anyway...we'll have a little party! Or somesuch!

Hey nuChad,

I'll agree to meet you and some others if we can all agree on a nice spot but Dallas would be out of the way for me but not out of the question though. However, from the looks of things, if I decide to go I'll be doing it almost alone as no one seems to be interested in keeping this trip alive.

I'm waiting for several others to step up to the plate and make a commitment to follow through and actually set a date.

Nice to see another member over here.

Hope to talk more later.

DaveMan

The trip is certainly very interesting. It may prove difficult for my wife and I to make but not completely out of the question. It depends on the dates, etc. I can only give a maybe at this time.

Thanks for the response LINYScrew. You got some idea as to when you may be able to go? I think the more the merrier so don't miss the chance for all of us KR owners to finially meet and enjoy some sights and food together.

Later,

DaveMan

ya know to make the trip a little more fun for us north eastern people we should meet someplace on the way down and continue on together.....I have a cb in my truck for just such events and it would be fun to finish the long drive together being able to talk back and forth....ok I need a human to talk to because I am traveling alone with a toddler....just a thought..
