Hey Mike, so, so sorry to hear that and I will pray for you and your family all the best.

And it's the insurance agent in me making sure your family is protected....but if you don't already, for your son's sake, please make sure you have life insurance.

thanks KRSC02 for the well wishes & kind words.... yes... I've been covered fairly well with life insurance.... although they almost had to cash it in a few years ago when I had to get a couple stents put in!! (luckily I had the policy a few years prior when our son was born..)

All I can say after losing my wife and attending a bereavement group with 7 women who lost their husbands, make sure you tell/show your spouse how much they mean to you... there's so many dreams, plans, etc that will now go unfulfilled... like so many others, we thought this wasn't supposed to happen to us....

I'm glad you're covered. I will definitely take your advice on the latter. I wish you and your family only the best in your future. One thing I truly and wholeheartedly believe is that when our loved ones leave this physical earth, they spiritually stay with us and look out for us.

Well, I haven't been on this forum in quite a while either, and was shocked to find out we almost lost you Lenny! Mike, you and your son, definitely will be in my prayers!
I've still got my '02 Chestnut/AZ Beige SuperCab 4x4, and just turned 70K miles on it. Needless to say, I don't get out much. Right now though, it's sitting in my driveway, waiting to be towed to the shop. For whatever reason, it refuses to start right now, and has for a week. It will crank over, but not fire. So, since I don't have the diagnostic equipment to figure it out, it gets farmed out to those in the know. What a bad time of the year for it to happen, but, I'm just glad that I didn't go out deer hunting this year, and have it leave me stranded out in the middle of Central Kansas!

Take care ya'll!

Thanks TD.
Happy Christmas and New Year to you and yours !

I'm feeling much better now...just waiting for an op in the New Year, though hoping to go to Madeira in January for a vacation first.

TD - thank you for the kind thoughts & well wishes! It's also comforting to know that I'm not the only one (crazy? ) one out there who has a 12 yr old King Ranch with less than 75K on it (my charcoal blue KR Screw 4x4 just hit 74K last week). I'm almost at the point of parking it on the lawn and just using the tailgate as a picnic table...

Still runs fine though... one of these days I guess I'll need to change the plugs! Rocker panels have rusted through on both side though.. suspect a leak in the windshield somewhere... will get repaired in the spring...

Have a Safe & Happy holiday everyone!!
