What is real leather???
What is real leather???
First post, but lurking for the last couple weeks since bringing home my new King Ranch. Will post some pics later.
I, unfortunately, can't help much. In the past, the "Entire" seat in a KR has been leather. I hve not seen an '09 KR, so I can't tell you what exactly is leather to be treated. I'm sure someone, (RockPick?), will chime in and enlighten you.

I'm with Timberdoodles, since I don't have an 09, (but wish I did).
However, you can usually tell by the "feel" and "texture" which is leather and which isn't. We know the seat cushion is leather and I think the seat backs are leather (at least the part you rest against). If all else fails, you might be able to tell with the "sniff" test,
since your seats are so new. Plastic is NOT going to have the leather smell. I doubt if anything on the dash is leather - we have a covering over the gauge pod that looks like it came off a football, and it's "pleather".
Anyway, enjoy your new truck!

Thanks. Finally found my 09 brochure which states "leather trimmed" front and back seats. Is it safe to assume that the back of the front seats won't need any leather conditioner then? And I would assume that the dash is vinyl so 303 for those two places and leather conditioner everywhere else. Any other suggestions for caring for this beautiful interior?

I'm nearly certain that it's leather... that said, condition.
Either way, you're not going to damage a vinyl product with a leather conditioner -- it would, however, be wasteful.
I'd be beside myself if Ford cheap'd up the interior to only seating panels being leather. To my recollection based upon my limited interior time with the 2009 at the F-150 Ride & Drive event -- it was all leather.
